Stanley Morand was one of the most popular entertainers in Jamaica between 1910 and 1930.
He was known as Jamaica's Harry Lauder, after the famous British comedian.
The Morand family had apparently been involved in entertainment in Jamaica from the 1870s when Stanley's father, Edward, had reputedly been a founder of an early amateur dramatic society.
