Harold N Brown one of the most noted Jamaican tennis stars of the century, died last week. . . . He became noted for his big service and fiery forehand with which he reached to the final stages of many of the senior tournaments, including the island championships. After retiring from active competition he coached at many schools and helped any promising player who wished to advance. For his services to the game the Jamaica Lawn Tennis Association and the Manchester Club made him a life member.
